About Doreen Hart
One of the things I still love…
One of the things I still love after all these years is that I never know exactly what is going to show up that day or how it will present itself.
Every person who walks through my door is unique, and I find that exciting. Each person brings their own story and experiences.
Creating Sacred Space
Before every session, workshop, or class, I take a few moments to center and ground myself.
I intentionally leave everything else from my day outside the room so I can become fully present for the person or group in front of me. It is about becoming present enough to truly listen.
My intention is to create a shared space where people feel safe to simply be themselves. A place where questions are welcome, where silence is comfortable, where laughter and tears are equally accepted, and where whatever shows up can be met with compassion rather than judgment.
I have found that when people feel safe enough to be themselves, something begins to soften. They become even more aware of their own body, more connected to their own experience, and often begin noticing things they hadn't noticed before.
A Deeper Way of Listening
Looking back, I can see that my way of listening didn't emerge all at once. Every stage of my career invited me to slow down, observe more carefully, and trust what the body was quietly communicating.
CranioSacral Therapy deepened that awareness, giving language to much of what I had already begun experiencing.
More recently, developing The Intelligent Fascia has become another chapter in that journey—helping me notice not only what I'm sensing in the tissue, but also what I'm discovering within myself.
Why I Teach
One of the greatest joys of teaching is watching someone begin to trust what they are experiencing.
There is a moment that happens in almost every workshop. A student pauses, looks up with surprise, and says something like, "I think I felt it."
I smile because I know what comes next. It isn't about whether they felt exactly what I felt. It's the moment they begin trusting their own experience.
Helping people discover that confidence—learning to listen, to stay curious, and to trust what they are noticing—is what continues to inspire me as both a practitioner and a teacher.
I believe the best practitioners never stop learning. Every client, every student, and every experience offers something new to discover, if we're willing to listen.
Professional Journey
For more than 30 years I've had the privilege of working through physical rehabilitation, massage therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, teaching, and continued exploration of the body's remarkable wisdom.
Before massage therapy, I worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where I first began noticing how much the body communicates beyond words.
Seventeen years of teaching massage therapy and continuing education reinforced one truth: my greatest teachers have always been the people I've worked with.
An Invitation
Whether you're coming for a private session or joining me in a workshop, my hope is that you'll leave with a deeper connection to yourself and a greater appreciation for the wisdom already within you. When we slow down enough to listen, the body has an incredible capacity to guide us toward what it is ready to reveal.
I continue to be inspired by this work and grateful for every person who has been part of my journey. Every client, every student, and every experience has deepened my understanding—not only of the body, but also of what it means to truly listen.
If something you've read here resonates with you, I'd be honored to share part of that journey. You're welcome to join me.
Whether you have questions about a workshop, a session, or simply want to connect, you're always welcome to reach out.
